The hardest thing working on a new #Astronomy open source standard is to make both professional and amateur astronomers to agree. And from the feedback I am getting, it seams that amateurs might be way more knowledgeable about making real observations.

@tuparev That is absolutely true on average. Very few professional astronomers actually still do observations themselves - most of that work is done for them.
