@anildash I want to like this, but at best a rebrand is an aesthetic shift that signals new values that are specific to a particular time, and creates an emotional resonance with those values. And the new values Mozilla has been espousing seem to be running interference for AI grifters and quietly acquiescing to adtech framing of privacy issues, while making a technically inferior browser that bleeds market share.
I would really like to be wrong about this!
