Maybe my next project will be to build a browser that doesn’t track you at all (or, start contributing to one). I don’t want a fork of a mainstream browser that supports Google, Apple, or anyone else’s business ambitions. I just want to access the internet. The whole stack would need to be new. #indiedev

Someday, someone’s going to explain why I would buy a car that I can’t drive. The whole promise of self driving cars is literally the same as a bus, someone else does the driving. That’s cool and all, but why would I pay $150k for my own bus that I’m incapable of driving?

The Wordpress ecosystem is garbage built on top of garbage. I made hundreds of WP sites over the years, the people who write plugins for them shouldn’t be allowed to download text editors (let alone distribute software to millions of websites). Matt Mullenweg distributes a piece of software that’s more dangerous to run on a server than actual Russian malware. Fuck the losers at WP engine and automattic. You’re all really, really bad at your jobs.

1.7 is out, just a few bug fixes and UI updates. 1.8 will feature the upcoming and overdue task interfaces from the iOS client which make tasks a lot more useful. #indiedev #macosdev

App development is now part of my study process. These two mini apps will be rolled into something new for EMS students to use as interactive references. So far I’ve got a Glasgow Coma Score (GCS) calculator and a (rough) primary assessment guide. The assessment tool will soon feature a branching path navigation and a small record of what you’ve recorded for each data point. #iosdev #indiedev #medictech

Iterating on the flash card interface in KlockWork today. I’m still not happy with it so more changes will come before it gets merged. The thumbs up/down buttons don’t do anything yet but I imagine they’ll let you flag some terms as understood in some way. #indiedev #iosdev #medictech

This is the first iteration of a new feature of my app that I’m calling taxonomy. The primary use case is to allow you to define acronyms or words/phrases. Since an acronym may have multiple definitions, each one should be recorded with the job it was defined under. #indiedev #iosdev

History will judge him for his abject failure to prevent fascism from taking hold in his country, which happened decades ago (while he was an elected official). Screenshot of a new view in my app KlockWork. Basically just a grouped list of companies, the projects that belong to them, and the jobs that belong to those companies.
