Toot

I'm thoroughly enjoying the snippets of quotes posted by the @murderbotbot from the books! Before I ever read them I was resisting hard. I don't know what I thought the books would be like, I was put off by the name. Was I ever missing out! So glad that I got over myself and got the chance to find out why the name. And now the bot posts are making me want to read all of them again, even though it's not been that long. Wonderful stories, great writing. Don't miss out!

@Giselle The humans hadn’t gotten a lot of sleep last night, from the crowding and the strong possibility of dying.

@Giselle @murderbotbot I know so many people who love those books, and now you’re another. I’ve just never got around to reading them.

@crinolinerobot I don’t know what I was going to tell them, but it was going to involve the words “I can’t do my job if none of you fucking listen to me”

@crinolinerobot @murderbotbot

I think you best leave it a bit to be honest. Because once you read the first one (All Systems Red, by Martha Wells) you'll want to read them ALL. I know I did. Seriously addictive. I was going to pause a bit between books I swear!, but nope, didn't manage that. It's how Murderbot sounds when he/they? talk about anything, it's his love for soap operas he watches on his downtime. Rescuing those pesky humans, almost despite himself (not really, he does care). Fab!!!

@Giselle I could have done this a lot more easily by walking around from hatch to hatch and using the comm to contact each transport directly, but it would have been ridiculously obvious that I was doing something, even if the humans couldn’t tell what it was.
