@draft13 You didn’t ask me so I want to be clear I’m not speaking for @djsundog…

But…in addition to the unhealthy monoculture, mastodon has governance issues that really need to get addressed. There are constant examples of misplaced priorities and a lack of understanding of what is lacking in the fediverse. Other projects are taking the lead in user safety and not just focusing on bling.

Supporting these great alternatives will only make the fediverse and mastodon stronger.
