Salut!
Been learning French for a couple months now via Duolingo for a trip next year, but it feels like I should find other ways to learn the language now.
So, got any French media to recommend for learning the language with?

@w8l
Bluey is well-dubbed in French and quite charming. Being a kid’s show it tends to use simple language.
“Pas de whiskey pour Mephisto” is a fun, very short book to read.

@w8l watch the Arte channel on YouTube (cultural TV channel broadcasting pretty much everything they make without ads). They have videos in French and German but those in German are overdubbed and the French is impeccable.

@w8l When I started learning French a few years ago, I used to listen to this on the way to work: https://www.newsinslowfrench.com/
It's current world news, so it's usually subjects I was aware of, quite well enunciated. It was quite useful to improve my listening skills :)
(I was also doing duoling for vocabulary and a IRL course for grammar)

@w8l You can try Arte https://www.arte.tv/fr/videos/documentaires-et-reportages/. There are a lot of videos which should have subtitles in french and should be available for free.
