This makes me unexpectedly sad, as an apple lover (the fruit not the company), whose first word was 'Apple', trying a honey crisp apple is on my bucket list, but perhaps it's not even worth trying any more 🫠

@NicMakesStuff thanks for sharing that, I did not know I was interested in the Apple Industry, but it was quite and interesting read. 😊

I do really hope you’ll get to try a proper honey crisp eventually. Maybe you’ll be able to increase your chances if you grab one while it’s in season and from a smaller producer? 🤔

Not sure if they’re only available in the US, I haven’t consciously noticed one in Germany so far. 😅

@amxmln I have another apple website to share, https://applerankings.com/ is a load of fun if you have a bunch of time. I want to try the Kanzi, apparently that's pretty widely available in Europe? 😂

@NicMakesStuff Haha that’s cool! Never heard of the Kanzi, my go-to for breakfast is Pink Lady. 😅 But I’ll keep an eye out!

@NicMakesStuff - unfortunately, the ones I first tried (a year or two ago) were not very tasty and definitely not worth the high price.
