Sigh. I probably could have run an entire JP appointment in French just now if I didn't respond to "Vous parlez français ?" with "un peu". With languages you've got to be bold! Seize the opportunity to speak another language! Don't be timid by sitting on your budding gift.

@markdarb J'ai fait la même chose samedi lorsque j'ai entendu parler l'espagnol. C'était des touristes qui avaient des questions sur le bus, j'ai parlé quelques petits mots en espagnol...

Eux: Ah! Vous parlez espagnol!

Moi: Un poco!

Et puis on a parlé anglais. Oops.
