A version of Missile Command for the Commodore 64 where the bottom of your screen is the game state in memory and missiles cause memory corruption, which eventually causes you to lose: https://csdb.dk/release/?id=135463.

In the video below, a missile broke my controls and caused my cursor to move down and to the left so I couldn't stop other missiles.

@danluu this would also be a good idea for the Bally Astrocade, on which most of the RAM is taken up by the frame buffer. You have to set a register to blank out the bottom of the screen, otherwise you'll see your variables peeking through.

@danluu Yeah, we switched the screen to working memory on the QL, in four colour mode. We got quite good at following pointer chains around the screen to debug things.
