@CaptainNerdBeard People (including me) often forget how much salt there is in cheese - and if you are using lean mince I suspect it will help there as well. (Not that I eat meat any more but a long long time ago I did enjoy my meatballs)

@Wen exactly, and if you use it right, the "cheesy" flavour of it disappears in the cooking, leaving a flavour that just beautifully punches up the flavour of the mince.
