City of Calgary just released some details on population growth with their budget presentations.

In 2023 - Calgary added 76,000 folks - or the city of Medicine Hat.

Since 2019, the population has grown 10.7%

Revenue into the city, inflation adjusted has been down 1.5%.

Currently the forecasts see Calgary growing from 1.42M to 1.61M by 2029.

And directly related - the increasing cuts from other orders of government or them not following through with promises is ~$430 million. #yyccc

100%. We have some serious growth challenges that at least 5 on council want to pretend don't exist.
