I decided to write down a lesson I’ve learned multiple times in work / life, but frequently fail to implement:
When achieving a task seems impossible, just chip away. Do one thing, break the tasks down into sub-tasks, and gradual progress will lead to completion.

@elliotjaystocks My version of this is to commit five minutes to whatever the task in hand is.
I can't recall where I got it from, but five minutes feels easily manageable, and what inevitably happens is that you get sucked in and spend a lot more than that on it.
