Anyone with experience doing computer repairs at a repair cafe? What sort of problems do folk bring in?

I do sewing repairs at my local, but sometimes its quiet and wondering if I should branch out. We dont get a lot of PCs/laptops brought in, but I don't know if that is because weve never advertised. My skills are pretty basic, but no worse than my sewing!

Just a little hesitant from my early 2000s stint of trying to de-malware lawyers personal pcs.

@FeralFood : Had one computer at the last repair cafe I went to, the main requests were:

• Can I have an office suite that I don't have to pay a subscription for? (Installed LibreOffice, which got a lukewarm reception because it wasn't exactly the same as Microsoft Office. 🤷🏻‍♂️)

• The computer is so slow and burns battery so fast. Inspected what was running, and removed a million bits of bloatware that came with the machine, including a lot of questionable antivirus. A+ happy reception to that.
