There's a subtle but important change in the new extended keyboard with USB-C from Apple.
The fn 🌐 key is now to the bottom left. In replacement they added a new key for “ctrl+click”.
The reason for this HAS to be the new keyboard shortcuts for moving windows in macOS since they're now using the globe (fn 🌐) for that.
This also makes the layout equal to laptop keyboards.
This also means shorter ⌘ cmd, ⌥ opt and ⌃ ctrl keys which is the only downside.

@webjac @atpfm @stephenrobles What does that new “menu" button do, the one above Forward Delete?

@gruber @atpfm @stephenrobles it’s control click (right click)
Anywhere your cursor is, or active selected element, when you press the key it’ll show the contextual menu that shows when you control click there.

@webjac @atpfm @stephenrobles Interesting. Is that new?

@gruber @atpfm @stephenrobles Yepp, totally new key as far as I’m aware. I never seen it in any previous keyboard.
(I also read somewhere (but can’t recall where) that in Sequoia there’s now a key combination for the ctrl+click action so you can do it without a mouse if needed.
This new key will probably fill that role, just like the forward delete key replaces fn+delete when text editing.
