Someone boosted a blog post (or something?) onto my feed, and something that's interesting to me is that the post contained boldface and italics, and I can see them here on Mastodon.

I'm really curious about this.

@dynamic i just read another post discussing this. from what i gathered, we on mastodon can see posts from other platforms which support that stuff, but we cant create it in a post ourselves.
