If you're using the K-9 email client on your #Android phone, you can now switch to Thunderbird. It's essentially the same app, but development will continue on Thunderbird.
The app-to-app settings import did not work for me (requires a non-release version of K-9), but I had no problems exporting the settings in K-9 and then importing them in #Thunderbird.

@roytanck I use K-9, can you clarify what you mean by "it's effectively the same app"? K-9 is Thunderbird now? Or why would I want to switch? Same developers? Is K-9 abandoned?
Or just because "Thunderbird good"?

@dvk Yeah, K-9 has gotten much better since Mozilla is involved, and this is another step towards completely replacing the app. I think that will happen later this month.
