Custom plugin: Generieke bestandjes voor options en postmeta tabel die dan via WP-CLI over elke site looped:

wp site list --field=blog_id | xargs -n1 -I % wp cleanup rows delete=%

Zo heb ik ook eentje voor:

• Oude tabellen.

• Truncaten van specifieke tabllen

• Oude complete subsites in netwerk.

Valt nog mee, maar dit was het resultaat van oude orphaned rows na bijna 14 jaar een project doorbouwen op WordPress.

"Deleted 37887 rows from wp_postmeta"

Is eigenlijk een druppel op een gloeiende plaat want table heeft 724310 rows 🙈

Maar goed, tis een multisite dus er is meer winst te behalen op elke subsite!

Just added an Index to my old MLP 2 linked elements table.

Went from 20s to 84ms... ok... wow...

@kraftner Coincidence indeed! It's always a trade within WordPress ... Or webdevelopment in general. Build it yourself or use a package.

With Gravity Form, it never felt bloated. It did exactly what I needed, except the configuration in code.

Kind of like ACF, yeah, I won't be building my own custom fields when ACF has been proofing itself worthy for the last 10 years. Same goes for GF.

An der andere Seite, we needed to force build some custom form in GF which might have been better 1/2

@kraftner You were searching for a Form plugin and I thought about syncing forms to disk, just like ACF does with it's fieldgroups. Guess somebody already though about it and build it. https://www.wpformsync.com/

For me, this was the final key-feature I was missing. Gravity Forms is powerfull enough and user friendly + A11Y ready.
