@ivory Love the new blueprint icon but also the new taskbar setup. Nice fit with the “new post” button inside the bar. Small but nice adjustment to feed my OCD!

@kellogh @ivory @freediverx during beta it took me a day or two to get used to having the toot button on the far left instead of having the floating button, so I kept hitting it instead of home, but it was totally worth not having the floating button anymore.

Feature request: the return of the Vintage theme from Tweetbot, please! (screenshot attached)

I love Ivory, but the light theme is a little clinical compared to the warmth and humanity of the theme I used in Tweetbot. I honestly think it significantly improved my overall experience of late-era Twitter.

@k1m Ah yea. That's going to be soon. Next release will be a small one for iOS18 and then the one after should be the big Notifications tab update release. We've been waiting on Mastodon's grouped notifications API's to be finalized.

@ivory would it be possible to have the navigation menu and post buttons in the nav bar but in any position? Just an idea that I would use, I understand if it’s not worth implementing. Thanks for a great update!

@nickfoster We thought about that, but did not like how things could look and there are cases where the post button would get hidden in the menu. Figured the 2 options we gave are better than none. 🙂

@ivory Thanks very much for implementing the right-side option for the Post button. After I chose that, I quickly worked out a comfortable rearrangement of the nav bar.

And the attachment/link preview on the “Read more…” items is a big enhancement.

Mastodon is no entirely my cup of tea but I’d be very happy to subscribe to a good app on BS.

@iestynx this is most likely server related. If you view that post from your server, do you see the correct image? If so, try hitting the “reset account cache” button in your ivory account settings. Federated threads posts from people you follow need to be downloaded to your server first and sometimes those media files aren’t loaded and cached in time when you view them in a client.

@ivory sorry, should have checked that first. They don’t show up on the local server either. But they are on v4.2.12 and I don’t understand enough to see why the images won’t come through.

@ivory The selected tab now doesn’t have the highlight color, but just a filled icon, which is not as clear.

I understand you made this to accommodate the differentiation for the post button when it’s in the nav bar, but maybe when we opt to keep the post button outside, we could still have the color highlight of the selected tab?
