Toot

Alright folks, I'm tired of the continued BS going on in Twitter land, so I want to move to Mastodon full time. However, I'd like to keep my Twitter account in my own hands, and try and bring my Twitter friends over here. Any good suggestions for how to cross post there and move conversations this way, or is that just asking too much.

@jonathanbossenger I don’t know about cross-posting. But will be nice to have you here more!

@ross I've definitely noticed I end up spending more time here because there are more conversations here I'm interested in. My work however makes me feel the need to keep in touch in both places, in case I need to be reachable.

@jonathanbossenger I understand. I still lurk there often. Though it seems people are mostly dispersing to Threads and Bluesky!! So keeping track is gonna be even more work!

@ross IMO anyone moving to Threads is dead to me. I stopped using FB a number of years ago, so them finally figuring out how modern social media works isn't going to lure me back πŸ˜‚

@jonathanbossenger Crossposting services didn't work anymore for me after the open Twitter API got closed.
