Generating Automated Subtitles with OpenAI’s Whisper on Ubuntu 22.04

You know that old phrase "a good workman never blames his tools." Today, I had to read a 180-word tirade from a speaker complaining that the clicker the venue provided did not allow him to deliver his best talk. #1, you don't need a clicker to be a good speaker. #2 if you need a clicker, make sure you have your own, that you're comfortable with, and it has fresh batteries.

Alright folks, I'm tired of the continued BS going on in Twitter land, so I want to move to Mastodon full time. However, I'd like to keep my Twitter account in my own hands, and try and bring my Twitter friends over here. WordPress as a game development platform.

Ok, so bare with me on this one. Just over three years ago, I was a guest on the Crossword podcast, talking about the WP Notifications project. I can't remember if it was before or during the podcast recording, but Luke, Jonathan, and I discussed whether using WordPress as a game development platform would be possible. At the time I thought that this was probably perfectly possible.

@assertchris are there any free 2d pixel art resource packs for Godot around? I finally have an idea to work on for a game, and I want to noodle on some simple prototypes to learn/build some basic game mechanics but I have zero artistic skills.
