Had my follow up with Veterans Administration today and they maintain I am still 100% screwed up so I guess this cancer thing is good for something. The PA was a very patient woman who gently and carefully took inventory of all my scars and ills. #cancersucks #FuckCancer

@BobHorowitz Yep. At 17 the idea of being an Army Ranger sure sounded cool to my immature, testosterone infused brain. Recruiter left out the part where after jumping out of planes and carrying 100+ lb rucksacks for a few years the 3AM trek to the bathroom would be more of a slow-motion shuffle . The cancers from burn pits in Iraq, depleted uranium, etc are a bonus I guess. On the plus side I get a free lifetime pass to Mt. Diablo and 10% off at Applebees.

@BobHorowitz To be fair, my medical/dental/vision is covered for the rest of my life regardless if "service connected" or not so that helps.
