small hack from a while ago:
A synchronized grid on my homepage people can draw on, and it updates a small epaper display on my desk. It's been fun to occasionally glance over it and see it has randomly changed because someone went by my website (https://www.svenknebel.de) and drew a new pattern 😃

@redstrate will have to see that myself.
In the original use case they can last years, but of course a price label isn't updated very often. Here it'll really depend on how many visitors my website gets I guess - today after this post it's been updating a lot more often than before :)
