This ASUS board ships their BIOS file in a zip. It comes with an EXE that... renames... the file.

EA making it really easy to not buy Sims 1 & 2 on Steam, and instead pick up a copy from a thrift store for $5 or download it for free elsewhere on the internet

edit: it looks like the DRM may be mistagged, but im still not vibing with the price

Ive been thinking about this recently, and recontextualizing conversative bumper stickers. Theyre always signaling "you are not welcome here, its dangerous" to me. It doesnt help that they are usually antongizing a person or group. But to people on the right, i wonder how they feel. Are they like "finally, someone who shares my dangerous views??"

Feeling good today: I finally fixed my bike, did more OSM mapping (map mapping?), continued testing Tokodon with a screen reader, and then subsequently fixing that with a whole slew of other bugs. I also set up photo syncing from my phone, and realized I was wiping the EXIF data so the dates were lost. I turned that on in the camera now :BlobCat_ThumbsUp:

I also successfully configured my new router :BlobCat_SmilignOpenMouthSweating: (I only messed up the config ONCE)

I don't think I've discussed my PhotoPrism setup before on Mastodon (or maybe it happened before search.) I have all of my digital photos (>=2018) on there and it's amazing, highly recommend if you want something akin to Google/Apple Photos but self-hostable.

(It's slow as balls on my Synology NAS though, but that's a hardware issue.)

I'm restarting work on PlasmaTube (a YouTube and PeerTube client) now that my Invidious server is restored locally. I have already added a new config key to allow connecting to HTTP servers since they most datacenter IPs are blocked from running Invidious.

I saw some one of those Meta-enabled smart glasses recently, and they were just as creepy as you'd think they are. Only my girlfriend was one of the only ones even creeped out by it (probably because i never shut up about this stuff.)
