Ok, wow, another #Linux thing just happened that I didn't expect to work:
I noticed a high-pitched sound coming my new system, pressed the super key, typed in βfanβ, opened #CoolerControl, saw that two #fans were running at 100%, turned of of them to 85% (which Just Worked(tm)!111?!), noise is gone π€―
Thanks, #Bazzite! π
(It's also kind of mind-blowing to me that #RGB control works out of the box with #OpenRGB, what magic is this!?)

@fredbrooker I've heard of htop but not of term, what does it do? I can use it to change fan speeds / profiles?

@jfml term = whichever terminal emulator like xterm, terminator, terminal, tilix
and then kill the process that makes your fans go crazy π€ͺ

@fredbrooker Ah, ok. I think the fan is just a little funny, CPU usage was under 5%, and it's completely silent when running at under 90% speed.
