@jonn_blanchard Quick question, but do you know much about the Cybiko? A friend and I are talking about it at the moment and we were specifically talking about the batteries, and I mentioned that you adapted different batteries to work with the Gizmondo, so I figured it would be a good idea to get your input, in case you had something going on in the background!

I'm really thinking of checking out Haiku at some point, just to get a better idea of what it's about, especially for the gaming experience, because it at least has source ports for a lot of games I play!
Not sure of what PC to put on right now though!

So, one thing I've been thinking about is considering just getting 2GB CF cards for my OS, essential software & benchmarking software, & using separate partitions on a USB drives for games and music, although I'm not sure if there's enough transfer speed on the B/P 808x mini laptops' USB port to do that, so testing is needed!

Not sure how possible it is, but I'd love to get Castle of The Winds running on my P8086s; if it's doable, I'd need Win3.1 B2, as it's the last ver to use Real Mode! Usually, x86 808x CPUs can only run up to Win3.0! Another thing I want to see is if you can use the #PicoMEM to boot up floppy imgs and enable the laptops to run PC Booter games! The cards can be used in newer systems, but I think that there's diminishing benefits above a 286, beyond loading floppy imgs & WiFi networking functions!

Of course, right now I should be focusing on the new expansions for the HOMM3 board game, especially as I need to make sure I've completed things, but also because it's a lot cheaper to get them!

I was planning to get a PS5 Pro at launch, but recent events have caused me to reconsider that position!

Okay so I've been influenced by a comment I saw in a YT video for this question, but... Name at least 5 games/mods/source ports/similar (or more if you want) that you would always want to have on your PC (all OSes, also has modest system requirements) in the event that you lost access to the internet for a few days. Also, note that the downloads must have an independent installer, so nothing that needs a client like Steam to install!
