A couple of days ago I witnessed a poor small business owner try to fix a broken Internet connection with his phone while on the phone with tech support. The last thing I heard as I walked away was, "I pay $80 a month for this shit, W.T.F is a mac address?!!!"
It was bad enough when it was full on desktops and this is objectively worse in every way. All end users qualify for sainthood IMO.

New George Smiley book by John Le Carre's son who is a great author in his own right. It's a Tinker Tailor prequel/The Spy Who Came In From The Cold sequel. Terrific writing. Well worth your time if you're into the Smiley universe.
