I seem to remember osx homebrew being so much easier to use 10 years ago. but every time I have to do ANYTHING in it now, it requires 2 hours time to fix all its issues.

love having my icom 7100 in my car but I hate hate hate HATE that it’s only D-PRS instead of #aprs. icom really doubles down on d-star being the future.

Gunna call today a win. My first “attempt” at CW but really just ended up setting up my radio for it, listening to calls I sometimes understood @ ~15wpm, and trying not to freeze in the 40F weather. Def different listening to real calls. Not the same as practice apps/sites.

Regardless, it was fun despite the cold! Wish I had an indoor shack 😅🥲

How much spacing/tension do y’all like in your cw keys and paddles?

And if you use a dual lever paddle, do you have different spacing or tension for the dit and dah?
