I want an AWD EV. I don’t know if this is an American EV problem, but EV makers seem to be using AWD to boost power, not safety. I would be fine with an AWD EV that has less than 400HP. I’m not aware of one that exists here.

My Outback XT was a tad less than 300HP and it was just fine.

I reached under my sweatpants into the pocket of my shorts worn underneath in order to pull out my pancreas. It needs to be recharged, after all. Once it’s recharged, I will refill it with insulin and attach a replacement infusion set to my butt. This will get me through a few more days of living.

The propaganda from Tiktok is so strong that you have content creators emphatically stating that the US government shut them down in the US.

This is disinformation pushed by Tiktok directly.

I was opposed to the whole “TikTok ban” situation. But ByteDance may have proven Congress’s point.

Biden noted he would not enforce the ban and allow the next administration figure it out. ByteDance still turned off their services to Americans, blaming the Biden admin.

And then they turned it back on, thanking Trump.

The congressional mandated ban was already in flux. The shutdown was self-imposed. This was all planned.

Maybe congress actually did have a point.

VW made a minivan EV styled in a way that I’d consider getting it, though they priced it for nostalgia so it’s out of my budget.

In the US, there’s no other option.

Honda showed off their minivan EV concept and…nope. They had to maintain that minivans have to look bad because it’s a minivan.

EVs don’t have to have super futuristic styling just because they’re electric. They don’t have to look stupid. Stick to your car design roots, but design around an electrified platform…

While I am exhausted from hosting my mom’s bday gathering, I did manage to cook a killer prime rib roast. It was my first attempt ever. I’ve done steaks quite a lot. But never prime rib roast.

It was tender and juicy and had so much flavor.

It wasn’t as good as I feel I could have done though! Might have to think about this next time I might cook one of these.

Though not sure when that might be as I really dislike peopling.

Already having a far better experience with the G6 than any of the G7s I’ve used.

With how much hate I’ve seen for the G7, it feels like Dexcom should unrelease it.

Benson had a bit of a bad day today. His health continues to decline. Usually, when he’s at the vet, he seems pretty good to go. Even the vet notes he looks good, typically.

But today, he couldn’t hide it anymore.

He’s so exhausted from today.

He’s having a hard time hiding it from me as well. He’s needing help from me more and more.
