so the striking workers who are sick and/or Disabled, and who have sick and Disabled children and dependents, on top of being paid $60 a day max, but only if they picket for 4 hours (which Disabled workers likely can't do), now have to deal with new medical bills that can get very nasty, very quickly depending on the conditions one is dealing with.
HEARTLESS behaviour.
also, all 21 of their vice presidents got lavish bonuses last year, when they ended on a net loss.

i know we're all feeling cathartic about american health insurance getting owned by the working class.
one thing i don't see people talking about re: 'canada' Postal Workers Strike is that managment suspended all health insurance benefits across their striking workforce, including all workers on temp and permanent disability.
medication in 'canada' isn't covered by public insurance. everyone is on their own, and it can get very expensive if you have any complicated stuff.

Deque's Prep course for the IAAP's CPACC exam feels it was written by the kind of folks who assert the audiobooks and reading via Braille are not 'reading.'
Sign language is 'AAC' and 'nonverbal communication?' My ass!
Do they know what the 'verb' in nonverbal means? Do they understand that AAC refers to communication that isn't language-expression-based? Do they understand that Deaf people have fought long and hard for their languages to be accepted as legitimate?

just learned that i grew up pentecostal
and that there is no such thing really as a 'non-denominational church.'
'non-denominational' is really just a buzzword to make the congregants feel like their church is free of influence from other people outside of the church. there's other reasons for it too, but that's the main one.
in the case of hillsong-esque megachurches, that has the additional effect of consolidating total power of doctrine under the charismatic head preacher.

being guided through setting up git to connect to github to deploy to pages via terminal for the first time. still confused on what a 'stage' is and why everything has to get on the stage before they are committed. is the stage where they have to all do job interviews? is it some awkward audtion scene like from Pitch Perfect? if git doesn't like how you did on stage, can they deny the commit?
if the stage is so redundant, why is it still around? for audition participation awards or what
