I made up a Tom Yam Fried Rice recipe last week and ate it four meals in a row (that's how many servings I made), and I'm already preparing the same amount again tonight.

The ratio of "tasty" to "difficulty to prepare" is just off the charts. :)

A hairy SQL query I wrote today as part of my my search engine development efforts:

Heh, so many fun things going on here. Especially in that HAVING clause. 😂

Aww, a day I actually have to go to school.

Monday was off and Tuesday was cancelled because of snow, which spoiled me I think.

My previous approach was mounting a tmpfs on my downloads folder to make it auto-clear on reboot, forcing me to move stuff out of it.

But that means there's just a folder sitting in my home dir that's empty 99% of the time. Why bother with that?

Well, I've changed my downloads folder to /tmp.

Why? To try and keep temporary files out of my home directory as much as possible. :)
