Just sshing into my arm linux server to do some quick sys admin from my Apple IIc... using FujiNet and Cater (vt100 term) enhanced for 80col, lowercase and FujiNet.

@paulrickards - I got direct TTL video out of your board using the leads you nicely pulled out. Right into the TTL/Digital interface of the RGB2HDMI- no analog board required.

There is at least one other person doing this in the wild w/ your board on the FB Lisa, helped verify I wasn't crazy.

Older iPhones just feel so strange in your hand these days. This is an iPhone SE from just 2016, but it's based on the iPhone 5 from 2012. ARM9 and Einstein is a little too much for it for a flawless Newton experience.

As part of my Subtext BBS troubleshooting issues I decided to tackle MacTCP once and for all- getting it to the absolute latest version (2.1). And I wrote up what I did so you can do it as well:

I also found out that the Apple Internet Route IP extension does not use MacTCP, it must be doing it's own thing for all it's IP TCPing.

So I ignored Rule 1 at my own peril and suffered the consequences. If you are wondering, rule #1 is:

• it's the firewall,

Meanwhile, rule #2 is:

• it's DNS.

It was my local Subtext 'proxy box' to block telnet abuse that was doing something weird with FidoNet connections. At least I got MacTCP 2.1 out of this.

@jcs - for some reason all I get is -23015 errors hitting the FSX host (openFailed). It worked one time randomly. Even went from MacTCP 2.0.4 to 2.1 and no help. Not DNS.
