@dillera That was such a cool era, when MS realized they’d screwed up with Word 6 and made a strong effort to create proper Mac apps.

@uliwitness I'm surprised how zippy it is- to be fair this is peak G4 - I picked up this TiBook and it's the last iteration, 1Ghz cpu. But coming back to OS9 after decades- it's fast and quirky.

@dillera I remember running macOS 9 on my last PPC ... G4 I think? 466 MHz or so? OS 9 was so fast!

But that was already the time where one would have sensibly switched to OS X.
