So I am pretty excited to get some comic "inspiration" by wanting to make a gift to someone! This is the first draft and I'm really happy with it! Needs some readability improvement and panel fine-tuning but it's a nice 1-pager!

Nothing for me as a comic maker (I don't consider me an artist in the least bit) feels so satisfying and making me smile, than to actually get some money for my work, even though it needs major improvement, while learning to become better. It's really a great "comic making" self-confidence boost! :))

What I managed to do this year was not as much as I had hoped for, but it was a good beginning to hopefully something bigger.
The first small intro/prelude chapter of a manga I wanted to do since I was watching Naruto and Fairy Tail I think :P

Along with @HarukaK we started a #freeculture sci-fi series at #Fodongo zine https://fodongo.jectoons.net/ (thank you @jectoons), which of course was her own initial idea.
Did some other comics for Fodongo too...
And participated in Inktober...
I also started to take drawing more seriously and I think I managed to improve my skills quite a bit and have fun too! But as a side-achievement I managed to read and appreciate art in general!
Actually it wasn't such a bad year after all...

It's out! My second "official" (3rd unofficial story) is out with this Fodongo issue!!
It has spaceships (well, one actually), prisons, implants, action and some comedy!!!

I never realized this until very recently... I must draw to be in a good mental state. I must draw to feel I have my own private world, noone will invade and fuck it up.
Even some gestures would be good enough... Or cylinders or cubes... But even more so if I manage to move onward with the story of Antumbra, or do some drafts...
But when your brain and general situation doesn't allow me to have the energy to life a pencil and can only watch some fun series to unwind and "forget" the bad crap, that makes me feel completely and utterly crap...

Ended up redoing 2 panels, because the reader (you) would end up not having a clue what was happening!
Today I learned two things:
3 (bonus). be ready to accept that a page can be completely different from what I had in mind and should end up requiring a redoing.... 😭
Edit: man, making comics is a tough thing....

Gradually pushing forward. Panels have been decided (I just didn't have the capacity to even do another line last night XD).
It might need some minor changes/tweaks in the panels of the man walking down the corridor, but not sure yet.
After this page Antumbra officially begins in its current timeline with it's first satiating chapter! :D
