Nothing for me as a comic maker (I don't consider me an artist in the least bit) feels so satisfying and making me smile, than to actually get some money for my work, even though it needs major improvement, while learning to become better. It's really a great "comic making" self-confidence boost! :))

@ntoyohito Getting some money is an indirect way to have people saying "yeah this is some work that's worth something". To me it made it weirdly... Real ? Like it wasn't like I just made art for myself and to have a few people around me who like it, suddenly it was something which had a real value, an universal value
I know it's not a positive thing, having to wait for money to think you're worthy but we grew up in a capitalist society and until it's completely turned upside-down (if it happens)... Yeah it feels nice ! X)

@NemoJmeno
I would be equally happy if one said: yo! I like it! Here's an ink bottle for ya! XD

@ntoyohito Yeah, it’s not really about the money, more… like having your art being worth of something 🤔
(I once traded a drawing for a pint 🤫)
