One of the most unsavoury things in this discourse is when powerful people get away with blaming the proles for not choosing their harm merely in order to stop greater harm - rather than promising no harm at all and giving people reasons to actually vote for something. Voting against something is so negative and doomed, doing more harm in the long term. Biden got in on an anti-Trump vote, and this time rather than Trump winning, Harris lost.
