Il y avait des chaussettes quasiment finies dans un des sacs de laine que m'a donnés ma grand mère. Un #tricot vite fait ! J'aime mieux les chaussettes en couleurs un peu plus actuelles, et elles sont très longues, mais maintenant elles peuvent être portées !
A quick #knit : socks with only one end missing, that I got in a wool bag my grandmother won't use. Well, it's solid color yarn, and the stem is very long, but now they can be worn!

I knitted leg warmers that I finished during the holidays. They took almost 2 years!!! Because I won't need them so much so focused on other knits. Want happy with one bind off, re did it, still not happy, but finished anyway. One is tighter than the other and thus has one more repeat to have the same amount of blue!

Encore un tricot que j'ai terminé pendant les fêtes de fin d'année. C'est des guêtres, j'ai mis HYPER longtemps à les faire parce que.. Je n'ai pas vraiment d'occasions d'en mettre 🤷🧑🔧🚴
Un des deux est tricoté plus serré, et a donc une répétition de plus que l'autre pour avoir autant de bleu.. Et je n'étais pas 100% satisfaite de la fin du 1er (côté bleu) donc j'ai refait et je n'étais toujours pas satisfaite

I built a second #tangara ! I needed a few tries to have the right printed thickness for the touchwheel to match the buttons colors, instead of the PCB piece. But I'll try with plastic cutouts too. I also tweaked the theme to match the case 💅. #opensource
J'ai fait mon tangara aussi ! Plusieurs essais pour avoir une touchwheel imprimée de la mme couleur que les boutons qui fonctionne. J'ai assorti le thème à mon boîtier.

Aujourd'hui au déjeuner, on a eu ce que j'ai baptisé une tresse cff : j'ai préparé la pâte dans les Grisons, puis laissé lever pendant le trajet en train de retour de vacances 😃 très bonne
Today we had what I named a cff bread 😃 I prepared the dough before taking the train back home after holidays in the mountain, to let it grow in the train. Very good!

J'ai fait une paire de grosses chaussettes pour éviter d'avoir froid aux pieds en allant au lit. Elles sont exprès un peu trop grandes, car la première paire que j'ai faite avec cette laine a feutré et rétréci à la machine. Je peux les enlever facilement une fois mes pieds dégelés 🙂 #tricot

I registered as a stem cell donor in 2022. I was already called 7 times to give platelets ! The nurses are very nice and it gives some time for reading. No knitting though! One feels less tired than after complete blood donation because the red blood cells come back.

Je suis donneuse de cellules souches du sang depuis 2022. On m'a déjà appelée 7 fois pour des dons de plaquettes. Moins contraignant au niveau de la fatigue qu'un don de sang, car les globules rouges sont restitués. Je profite du don pour lire, mais tricoter non car il faut les deux mains ! Bonnes résolutions 2025 ?

Et j'ai réussi à terminer et offrir un ensemble pour bébé. Maintenant que j'ai compris comment faire une fleur en crochet, j'en ferai qques unes avec mes restes ! Celles du gilet sont brodées.
I finished and offered this baby set of a dress and jacket. Now I know how to make a crocheted flower I can make some with yarn leftovers. On the jacket, they are embroidered.

I knit sleeves and neck and except the tubular bind off for which I left some yarn, so I can continue the stockinette body and distribute yarn from different batches

I had a few hours of train today and almost made a mitten that will be convertible. I do the reverse engineering of one that I made a while ago with thinner yarn, and using different tutorials that are not really available anymore. I took notes so I can make the second the same if the size fits! I have 2 other long train trips planned 🚈 🧶

🚈 🧶 Quelques heures de train = quelques heures de #tricot aujourd'hui. Je traverse la Suisse 4 fois pendant les vacances 😃 je tricote des mitaines convertibles en moufle, en me référant à une paire tricotée il y a qques années, en assemblant plusieurs tutos, qui ne sont plus vraiment en ligne. Donc maintenant je dois décider si ma taille est bonne et faire les doigts avant de faire la deuxième !
