Made an accidental awesome recording today while testing a #TASCAM 424mkII before sale.
Since I am brand new at #analog #recording, and this technology is still a bit confusing, I made a mistake and did not arm all tracks to record at once, leaving unintended sound ongoing throughout all but one track at a time.
Turned into very avant garde stuff - a Frank Zappa interview on top of slow, distorted backward audio from The Cult, I think?
Had to keep it! Oops made something cool today. Haha!

Watched "The Thicket", a Western set in a snowy winter, with Juliette Lewis and Peter Dinklage.
It was really good.
I very much liked the shape Lewis' villain took, very complex. Unusual character.
Very well done, I thought, for characters and dialogue.
