::sighing about the Feminist Chorus still doing hymns::

Like.. are you feminists? Really? Your music selection does not pass the Bechdel Test.

I walked outta that first meeting and never went back. Told a bunch of old ladies years later why.

First, songs about worshiping a male baby saving us from ourselves ain't it. Second, Christianity is founded on the non-consent, agency-erasure, and supernatural coercion of a child.

The songs you sing are not "feminist" just because you think YOU are.

@NadiaPurge and the Divinyls song is such a "nose thumbing at the traditional chorale material" choice too, I think.
