There’s a place in town that makes amazing banana pudding, but recently they’ve been out every time we’ve ordered it. 😭
So I’m attempting my first pudding, using this recipe, with the addition of a teaspoon of banana flavoring to the pudding.

I looked out the window and noticed that our neighbor, who has the same name as Kid4’s deadname(), was outside working on his windshield and said, “Aw, poor has to scrape his windows.”

Trying a two-socks-at-once #knitting method and I think I finally have the hang of it, but transitioning from one sock to the other is so time consuming. It feels so slow compared to double-pointed.
I hope switching gets more intuitive as I go, because while I don’t get second sock syndrome, it would be nice to just be done when I’m done.

We visited and my mil said there was a bag for me by the chair. Sp picked it and asked why it was for me. It was kitchen stuff she was returning from Christmas.
Then she later asked me to pick up a reusable grocery bag for her the next time I go to the store. I think I’ve been to the store by myself twice in the last 6 months. We either go together or Sp goes to pick up something specific he needs to cook dinner.
We discussed the casual sexism when we left. 😐

My nails rarely grow much past my fingertips before they break, so I occasionally wear fake nails. Our green cheek discovered that he can pry them off if he works at the base of the nail.
I currently have one thumbnail which is about 1/8” past the end, so he’s convinced it’s fake and has been trying to pry it off for 2 days. 🙃
Of course every time I try to get video he stops. Stinker.

I didn’t think Pitney Bowes could make their products worse, but they’ve managed. I have a meter which, when given a ZIP code and a partial address would give options for addresses within that ZIP which I could choose from. Now after the update it will “fill in” with addresses from all over the country which match the street address instead of just that ZIP, so I now have to type out the entire address to make sure I don’t accidentally select the wrong one. Quality update PB. 👍

Our Jenday flew over, landed on my shoulder, said “hello” and then started saying “yep” repeatedly. I played along for a bit then said, “OK, bye,” which is another phrase he says a lot.
He hung his head as if defeated, and crawled down my body and stood on my lap facing away from me.

Sp decided to make pigs in blankets the way his Brit friend told him to try, wrapped in bacon. They were excellent. I also made a few with puff pastry rather than the refrigerator crescent roll version I grew up with. So much better.
Kid4 hates almost all meat, so she had a cinnamon roll instead.
We had some strawberries and sparkling grape juice and now everyone is back to gaming and chatting with friends.
I’m just waiting for bread to finish proofing so I can bake it.
