Sp decided to make pigs in blankets the way his Brit friend told him to try, wrapped in bacon. They were excellent. I also made a few with puff pastry rather than the refrigerator crescent roll version I grew up with. So much better.

Kid4 hates almost all meat, so she had a cinnamon roll instead.

We had some strawberries and sparkling grape juice and now everyone is back to gaming and chatting with friends.

I’m just waiting for bread to finish proofing so I can bake it.

@pomegranate_stew I'm a Brit by birth, and pigs in a blanket I know was basically sausages wrapped in bacon. That's it.

If they were wrapped in pastry they were just sausage rolls.
