No, we try to reserve that for when they’re super hormonal and actively trying to attack.

Two of them are pretty good about trims. The other two, we have to make sure they’re in a good mood or we will be chomped.

The Jenday had his done a few days ago, but the others were feisty earlier this week so we didn’t try that day.

@pomegranate_stew Pete needs a trim but it’s always in a towel because he does not like hands. It’s such a trauma for him so I let them grow as long as we can stand it before we trim.

That makes it a lot harder. It took a few years before we could do our green cheek’s for the same reason. We had to have the very do it.

Our Grey screams like a frantic chicken when we flip him into his back if he knows we’re going to do his nails and sometimes tries to bite. Otherwise, we can hold him like a taco and he just waits until we put out finger out for him to grab so he can stand back up. It’s so ridiculous.
