As of tonight I finally have my #Digitakt sending midi out to my East Beast and West Pest, which then sends Gate/CV to the rest of my #eurorack stuff. I had an absolute blast. I finally have a great way to sequence all of my eurorack gear and it's so much fun.

QuBit released new Nautilus firmware the same day that Pittsburg Electronics fixed my firmware issue, happy firmware update day to me! 😁

I'm sorry but if you're going to be starting a Kickstarter to raise money for your Fedi project and you talk about wanting to be the "first Fediverse app with a billion people" before you even mention governance or moderation, I'm going to find it all very sketchy.

Pixelfed kind of seems like a disaster waiting to happen. As far as I can tell the top two instances are run by the lead, and he seems to be the only moderator as well? And the only person doing anything at all to run the two sites. He got like 10k signups in a day recently, doesn't seem sustainable for a single person to be running all of that.

I painted my nails for the first time last night and I've been hyper aware of my nails since and I don't know how y'all do this. Maybe I'll get used to it, but it's so weird to be aware of my nails as I type this. I can't imagine what it's like to wear acrylics.

What sucks is that all other solutions seem shitty in comparison. I want:

This doesn't appear to exist except the MidiMuso, which is apparently too hard for me to assemble.

There are a few good eurorack modules but they're all super expensive, and the best looking one (Intellijel 1u) appears to be out of stock everywhere. I also don't have the rack space.

Super bummed to have spent a decent amount of time soldering Midimuso CV-12 kit, only to have completely fucked it up somewhere along the way. It's not the most expensive mistake, but at this point I'm not sure if I should even bother trying again, or if I should just find another solution. I've soldered a decent amount of stuff in the past and haven't ever hit a snag like this.

For me it was probably Helldivers 2. I spent a ton of time playing it with my friends. For single player it was probably Yakuza Kiwami 2 or Dead Cells.

Hello Fedi! What is your game of the year in 2024? I don't care if it came out in 2024, just that it was new to you, and your favorite game that you played this year.

Dinner came out of the oven and went immediately into Pyrex so we could take Debra to the doctor. I hope your dinner was better than mine.

Spent most of my day on the couch with my cat Debra, who is sick. Was hoping that she'd get better but she hasn't, so now we're at the emergency vet so she can get some fluids and anti-nausea medication.
