oh I just got to the John Waters/Law & Order crossover episode of Homicide: Life on the Street. Waters is so catty to Noth, it's great.

Peacock says this is S3 E 16, but IMDB says it's E 15. not sure why the discrepancy.

I was in the back of a big lecture hall earlier this week, unobtrusively observing teaching. And the students in the back row were talking through how they're short of breath and can't play pickup bball anymore and are bleary and unfocused and then I figured out these 18-year olds have long covid.

short of breath if they have to climb two flights of stairs, can only play 15 minutes bball at a time, can't remember names first time, dizzy spells, racing heartrate, headaches, persistent cough

Saw "Hundreds of Beavers" last night, and it was the exact form of pure nonsense that I needed in my life. It's not that it's slapstick that rose to the level of art; it was art from the first frame. Absolute must-view, esp. on the big screen.
