oh I just got to the John Waters/Law & Order crossover episode of Homicide: Life on the Street. Waters is so catty to Noth, it's great.
Peacock says this is S3 E 16, but IMDB says it's E 15. not sure why the discrepancy.

@JamesLonghurst It vexes me no end that I cannot stream this anywhere in Europe. I’d even pay.

there's some issues with the streaming version though; they're replaced some of the original music with some very annoying royalty-free stuff. it's very obvious that it's not right when it comes up.

@etp for example, I believe that every single one of these tracks has been stripped out

@JamesLonghurst Wouldnt it be great if David Simon could get the rights and make it available?

Look at this track list for one ep; all cut and replaced with generics:
Workin' My Way Back To You & Forgive Me Girl
The Spinners; Heart of Glass & Call Me, Blondie;
I Want Your Love, Chic; I Will Survive, Gloria Gaynor, Sweet Talkin' Woman, ELO; Boogie Wonderland, Earth Wind & Fire; Tragedy, The Bee Gees.
the genre is even referenced in the script ("What do you have against the pop music of the 70s?"); the songs are SUPPOSED to be diegetic, on the car radio.
