USGS national trail project wants trail data.
[#]Hiking #Biking #MountainBiking #GIS #Geospatial
USGS says:
“We are considering trail data from local and regional authoritative sources in States where we do not have State-wide aggregated trail data. The USGS Trails Explorer app is a quick way to view the latest trail data in USGS' database. Please visit this news item to learn more about the USGS Trails Data Portal.”

Up to 2 feet of #Snow on #Hawaii. Yes, you read that right.
Of course you need to be on a summit on the Big Island.
Did I mention the 85MPH wind?
To read details from NOAA - including timing - open the map, click colored area, follow the link. Since the spot you clicked might have more than one type of watch/warning, scroll down in the popup since each type of watch or warning has its own link for the details.

That stretch of sunny weather we have been enjoying in the #PNW sure has been nice. I could feel warmth from the sun working on projects outside at our place. But now you can get ready to kiss all that goodbye.
Map always shows a running estimate from NOAA of water-falling-to-earth over next 7 days. Moisture expected to start by this evening. In a few days even the #Seattle area lowlands may see some snow.
Looks like northern California hits the rain/snow jackpot.

Dictators are going to dictate.
The big picture question in my mind is how long will it be before Trump invents an excuse to declare martial law.
Whether or not such a declaration would be lawful is immaterial. Trump will do and say anything he wants to and then punish anyone who does not go along.

Location of #Earthquake just off the coast between #NewHampshire and #Maine.
The map has the data layer for “Did you feel it” turned on but at the time of my post there is no data in that GIS layer.

[#]DebrisFlow possible for #EatonFire and #PalisadesFire
Open interactive map with lots of links for more information. It will automatically zoom in on the Eaton fire. You can pan the map to the Palisades fire.
