I wonder how close you could get to a CRT effect from an LCD manufacturer perspective. Could you model much of the effects by simply playing with the layout and the display electronics?

Like I know getting a full visa is a fair bit more hassle at least for most but this process is so much visa lite (especially the new fun USA version the ESTA), that like. why. It's driving us insane.

Bluetooth LE feels weird. Like regular Bluetooth is still not good enough for its major application these days (audio). And LE is essentially a completely different thing that's better designed for an IoT usage that seems to have decided Bluetooth sucks and to avoid it. And then despite LE having a generic profile for arbitrary data stuff, everyone just layers on a weird custom protocol for shoving generic data across anyway

You know what wouldn't be? A TV that had an HDMI capture card built in. That's where the output is, so that's where the capture should be able to happen!

So, I wanted to watch my girlfriend play some games today. Only problem is, we don't really want to broadcast that gameplay to the world.

Other problem: it's a PS5 game. Yes you could link YouTube and then do an unlisted stream but that's a mess and bad. For whoever knows what reason it only supports YouTube and Twitch via account integrations. So no private RTMP, no Discord streaming.
