I wrote this in a comment to Youtube TV, after cancelling my membership.
I used to be a loyal Youtube TV customer. I first subscribed when it was $62.99, then the price increased to $72.99, and although I wasn't happy about it, I chose to keep the subscription. Now you're increasing the price to $82.99, and I'm officially out. You can keep your top notch streaming and your quality blah blah blah, I'm not paying $82.99 for it. I realize it's still cheaper than cable/satellite, but honestly, not by much. My mother-in-law is paying $99.99 for her satellite, and $82.99 is only $17 cheaper, that's absolutely absurd. Bye bye, Youtube TV, it's been nice knowing you.
I realize they probably don't give two shits about what I say, I mean I'm one out of millions of customers, but at least it made me feel better. lol

Ugh, I hate it when my sleep is interrupted suddenly and violently. It was 3:30 AM last night, when my hubs and I heard a huge crash. We both bolted up out of bed, and said, "Oh my god, wtf was that?" Of course, my husband being the bumbling goofball that he is, he just gets right out of bed and proceeds out to the living room, I head for the kitchen toward the knife block. because if there's a damn intruder, a meat cleaver would be better than nothing... No, thank God, there was no intruder in our house. So he's got all the lights on, looking around, we thought maybe someone threw something at one of our windows and it shattered, but the windows were fine. We looked all over in our house, couldn't see anything amiss, so we went back to bed. I didn't sleep a wink after that, because I was so hypervigilant... Anyway, I got up this morning, went into the bathroom to take a shower, and there are bottles and various containers like all over the bathroom floor. Evidently the huge crash was our storage shelves deciding they no longer wanted to hang on the wall and crashing to the ground. that's gonna be a fun mess to clean up today. at least we figured out the source of the sound, so there's that, anyway.

Blonde joke incoming, my husband told this one to me and I lolled for a good while.
A blonde walks into a retail store, looking for a new TV. She sees one in the corner that she likes, and walks up to the clerk.
"I would like to buy that TV in the corner," she says to the clerk.
"We don't serve blondes here," the clerk replies.
Stimied, the blonde goes home and dyes her hair black. "I've got it made," she thinks, "that stupid clerk won't refuse me this time."
She goes back to the retail store the next day, and the same clerk is working there. "I'd like to buy that TV in the corner," she says to the clerk, who promptly replies, "We don't serve blondes here."
the blonde, absolutely incensed, goes back home, and dyes her hair bright red. "They definitely won't deny me this time," the blonde says, and goes back to the retail store the next day. A different clerk is working this time, and she thinks, "All right, I've got it made. I'm definitely getting that TV this time."
she goes up to the clerk, and says, "I'd like to buy that TV in the corner."
The clerk says, "We don't serve blondes here."
Utterly and completely perplexed, the blonde asks, "How do you know that I'm a blonde?"
"That's a microwave, not a TV," the clerk says.

So I play handbells, and I'm going to handbell festival in April, so I thought I'd share one of my very favorite pieces that we're playing at festival this year. It's called the Storm shall Pass. and the reason that it's my favorite piece is because there are so, so many different handbell techniques featured in this piece, and that's what makes it so much fun to play. Here's a joke my hubby told me today.
A hillbilly went out hunting, and he shot three ducks. As he was loading the three ducks into the back of his pickup truck, the game warden drives up next to him. The game warden is not a fan of hillbillies hunting, so he thinks he might be able to catch the hillbilly in an illegal act.
He lifts up the tarp and looks at the three ducks in the back of his pickup truck. He picks up the first duck, sniffs its butt, and says, "This duck is a Kentucky duck. Do you have a Kentucky hunting license?"
The hillbilly pulls out his wallet and shows the game warden his Kentucky hunting license.
A bit perturbed, the game warden puts the first duck back, and picks up the second duck, and sniffs its butt. He says to the hillbilly, "This duck is a Tennessee duck. Do you have a Tennessee hunting license?"
The hillbilly pulls out his wallet again, and shows the game warden his Tennessee hunting license.
A bit more frustrated, the game warden puts the duck back in the hillbilly's truck, and picks up the third duck. The game warden sniffs its butt, and says, "This duck is a Virginia duck. Do you have a Virginia hunting license?"
The hillbilly pulls out his wallet for the third time, and shows the game warden his Virginia hunting license. The game warden is very frustrated by this point. He stares at the hillbilly, and asks, "So where exactly are you from, boy?"
The hillbilly pulls down his pants, shoves his butt in the game warden's face, and says, "You tell me, you're the expert."
I lolled for a good 20 minutes.
