WebM is supported in all browsers. Is there any benefit to using a AV1 video in WebM instead of MP4?

The Gregorian calendar and the ISO 8601 calendar are largely equivalent, yet I've run into the following error: "Uncaught RangeError: calendars "iso8601" and "gregory" aren't compatible"'

Temporal uses iso8601 by default. The Internationalization API uses 'gregory' by default in most locales...

The implementation of Temporal in Firefox seems pretty solid already. The only thing I’ve noticed not working correctly is .toLocaleString for a Duration.

How precise is a Temporal timestamp? I’ve noticed that the last digits in Firefox are always 000000. That definitely doesn’t seem like nanosecond precision. I read about performance.now(): “Allowing high-precision timing on the web may allow unscrupulous websites to fingerprint visitors, so browsers (notably Firefox) may reduce the precision of performance.now() by default.” Does the same thing apply to a Temporal instant?

TIL you can use .valueAsNumber on a date input and it will return the milliseconds since epoch.

Seeing as the user can't specify a timezone or a time, how is this value even calculated?

Will we get HTML date/time integration with the Temporal API? https://github.com/whatwg/html/issues/10882

I remember hearing somewhere that browsers were not going to implement all parts of the Temporal API. Does anybody know which parts will be omitted?

@zachleat I’m writing an article about icon fonts. It seems iOS still puts some emoji characters in the Private Use Area. Do you know why they do this? https://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/block/private_use_area/utf8test.htm

Does the Edge team have any plans to revisit HTML modules? Feels like there is a whole constellation of issues in various repos but spec work ground to a halt.
