I'm still looking for a new laptop and I'm erring towards an M3 MacBook Air. For the price it's a pretty nice deal considering my alternatives are £700 more. It means moving away from Arch though 🥺

Productive 15 minutes getting Google support to enable the option for me to disable Gemini. The options should be there by default but like most big companies they want to shovel it down your throat first.

Far too many replies to reply individual but here's a breakdown of my thoughts:

• AWS - Possible but I use them every day so want a change
• Beasts - Interesting but I'm not kean on SBCs, maybe good for prototyping
• Hetzner - already have stuff with them and pretty happy so far, will add to the list
• Scaleways - they do arm but can't see pricing without an account

Update: I'm using tasks.org and syncing with Vikunja (caldav) that I already had installed and used sporadically. Can't get any notifications to work but will figure that out. Tasks.org is a really nice app.

Random thought but I'd love a 75% scale 60% keyboard with the same aspect ratio hd screen and a 4/5g modem/WiFi arm board. Foldable.

Something I could throw into my coat pocket and open up in the pub to connect to a remote server.

Maybe a foldable phone really is the answer 🤔

Brand new install of Windows 11 and I can't log in to #mastodon I get "Invalid two-factor code" in Firefox, Librewolf and Edge.

Confirmed working in private firefox on Android and Arch. Really odd!

Todays the first day where pain has been reduced and breathing is up to about 80% capacity, it's been about 10 days of hell struggling to breath and wishing the pain would subside.

Only downside to being able to breath better is my lungs do hurt more though.
