Buying an Australian bush spice sample set was one of my best recent decisions.

So much flavor much of which I've never had. Wattleseed? Amazing. Kunzea? Love it!

There is a bit of irony that I ordered them from "Saltbush Kitchen" and the sample kit didn't include saltbush.

Lost somewhat in the awfulness that is Elon Musk and his gigantic ego, is the news that in one of his company towns he has gotten permits to build an i̶n̶d̶o̶c̶t̶r̶i̶n̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ c̶e̶n̶t̶e̶r̶ preschool called "Ad Astra"

In typical fashion, the news media has bent themselves into a twist to kiss Musk's musky ass and spin this as a positive.

In the "olden" days the oligarchs left enough crumbs on the table that a middle class could pretend that working class problems were below them, and the working class could pretend that homelessness was never an option.

Once the rug was pulled out from under the working class and subsequently the middle class, the formerly pacified populace started to wake up.

If they hadn't been so greedy, they could've kept getting away with it.

Missing the foster kittens and hoping they've all found new homes (they were taken from the county by a rescue organization so I can't obsessively check to see if they've been adopted since I don't know which org took them)

The foster kittens are getting a health check today and will probably "graduate" into being spayed/neutered and put up for adoption.

We started with 7, lost 2 to parvo, were told the other 5 had little chance.

All 5 are now happy healthy and bouncing off the walls!

I will miss the hell out of the little buggers but I think they have been given a good start and will make their adopters very very happy!
